Accessibility Statement

Mental Health Monarchs was built for people who have spent too long being an afterthought in spaces that claimed to include them. Accessibility is not a feature we added after the fact. It is part of what this platform is supposed to be.

We are actively working to ensure that every room in this palace is navigable, readable, and usable — regardless of how you access it or what tools you use to get here.

What We've Done
The MHM website is built on Wix Studio and uses the platform's built-in accessibility infrastructure. Work completed or in progress includes alt text for images across the site, color contrast choices that prioritize readability, font sizing that supports legibility on both desktop and mobile, and keyboard navigation compatibility where the platform allows. We are continuing to audit each page individually as the site develops.

Where We Are Still Working
Full accessibility compliance is a process, not a checkbox. We have not completed a formal third-party audit of the entire site, and we will not claim a standard we have not yet verified. The work is ongoing, taken seriously, and advances with each new page, tool, or offering added to the platform.

When the Concierge and other interactive tools launch, accessibility will be part of the build — not retrofitted in afterward.

What We Reference
MHM uses the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 as the standard for evaluating and improving site accessibility. Our target is Level AA compliance across all pages.

Tell Us What We Missed
If you encounter a barrier on this site — something you cannot access, navigate, or use — we want to know. Not because we are required to say that, but because the person experiencing the barrier is exactly who this site was built for.

Reach out at contact@mentalhealthmonarchs.org with the subject line "Accessibility."

We will respond and address it.
