Capabilities Statement
Mental Health Monarchs (MHM) is a culturally responsive digital wellness platform founded and led by Jerusalem Brown, LPC, NCC. MHM operates at the intersection of mental health education, cultural fluency, and creative expression — producing content, programs, and tools designed for communities that mainstream wellness has historically underserved.
Founder Credentials

Nationally Certified Counselor — National Board for Certified Counselors
Founder, Mental Health Monarchs
Jerusalem brings active clinical experience to everything MHM produces. Her practice background informs the psychoeducational integrity of MHM's content, the design of its coaching programs, and the therapeutic grounding of its tools — without positioning any of it as a clinical service.
What MHM Does
Psychoeducational Content
MHM publishes original essays, editorial content, and reflective resources through The Scriptorium, the platform's digital publication. All content is written from a clinically informed, culturally grounded perspective and designed to build emotional literacy, self-awareness, and psychological language in communities where those tools have not always been made accessible.
Coaching and Experiential Programs
The Sovereignty Suite and related cohort offerings are psychoeducational and coaching-based programs focused on personal development, emotional self-mastery, and identity reclamation. These are not therapy programs and do not constitute clinical treatment. They are designed for adults who are ready to do structured, supported growth work outside a clinical setting.
Healing Sessions and Audio Content
MHM produces guided meditations, grounding sessions, and audio resources designed for emotional regulation, self-reflection, and intentional rest. These offerings draw on evidence-informed wellness practices and are designed for general wellbeing, not clinical intervention.
Apparel and Merchandise
The MHM boutique produces declarative apparel and goods that function as wearable psychoeducation — designed to spark conversation, affirm identity, and extend the brand's values into everyday life.
Digital Tools
MHM is developing interactive tools, including a personal wellness concierge, designed to support reflection, goal-setting, and emotional tracking. These tools are built for self-directed use and are not clinical instruments.
Who MHM Serves
MHM's primary audience is Black adults — particularly those navigating the intersection of cultural identity, generational trauma, and personal growth — who are seeking mental wellness resources that reflect their actual lives. MHM also serves mental health advocates, culturally responsive practitioners, and organizations invested in closing the gap between mainstream wellness and the communities it has failed to reach.
Partnership and Collaboration
MHM is open to partnerships, speaking engagements, content collaborations, organizational training, and grant-funded initiatives aligned with culturally responsive mental health education and community wellness.

A Note on Clinical Services
Psychotherapy services are offered separately through Jerusalem Brown's clinical practice, available to Alabama residents only, and are listed on Psychology Today and Headway.
Engaging with MHM as a platform does not constitute clinical care or establish a therapist-client relationship.
